As a seasoned legal professional, Atty. Cos has served with distinction in various government agencies, including the Presidential Commission on Good Government and the Presidential Commission on Reorganization. He has also held key positions in local governance, having served as a city councilor and vice mayor in the City Government of Masbate, as well as a member of the Sanggunian Panglalawigan for the Provincial Government of Masbate since 2019.

Atty. Cos's leadership extends beyond his governmental roles, as evidenced by his tenure as President of both the Masbate Councilors’ League and the Vice Mayors’ League. His dedication to public service and effective governance is widely recognized and respected.

She provided legal counsel and support on matters pertaining to indigenous rights, land disputes, and cultural heritage preservation.
